Going by the stage name Mysterrey, I am an experimental performance and projection artist based in Brisbane. I Merge live art with digital technologies to create visuals for events in the music and underground queer scene. This is achieved by recording and live streaming live art whilst mixing, overlaying, and adding effects with digital mixers. Each performance is an introspective journey, reflecting both my inner world and the outer audience, with me adapting to the moment and surrounding stimuli.
My dual mediums, liquid light, and sand art, serve as complementary expressions of my creative and personal identity. Liquid light is a psychedelic blend of vibrant, fractured light, while sand art adopts a monochrome aura, with the sand becoming a meditative and abstract medium that transitions with fluidity. As my practice evolves, I have been adding extra layers of art, such as moving LED lights, digital effects, and installations.
