Residing in the heart of Fortitude Valley, The Black Bear Lodge is an integral part of Brisbane's music, art, and culture. I have performed at this venue regularly for over a year alongside musicians and DJs. I also facilitate visuals for a monthly queer event called Rufluv that hosts artists from around the country and Internationally. The owners and event runners have allowed me to experiment with different mediums and technologies, granting me full creative control to foster an artistic visual collaboration within the club. My practice involves integrating live sand art and liquid light which is projected alongside musical acts. Recently, I have incorporated a Roland video mixer, which allows me to overlay multiple mediums in digital format while adding effects.
